Airships are just as the name indicates. It's a ship that flies around in the air. Although this is its name, the airship can vary in its function from game to game. Such as in the earlier games of Final Fantasy, some airships only road on water while others could only go on land.Airships come in all different types, sizes, colors and operation. Most of the ones we get to use are usually given a name or in some games, we get the pleasure of naming it. Either way though, airships appear in every Final Fantasy even if its just a brief mention or sight during a movie clip.
They are a great way to transport your party around and if the game allows it, a real pleasure to actually drive around. The airship has become a symbol for the Final Fantasy world and shouldn't be evaporating any time soon.
