≅ nephry ≅

Nephry Balfour is one of the four kids that used to be part of the Keterburg crew. Actually, Nephry would have even been the only girl. She is a strong woman and appears to have always been pretty true to her own nature. She is kind but responsible. When she was younger, she was just like your average little girl. However, he simplicity and average personality I believe is what makes her such a wonderful character in this universe.

≅ peony connection ≅

Four words. Love of his life. Nephry was the first girl that Peony ever fell in love with, first girl to ever break his heart and will probably be the only girl to ever truly remain in his heart and kept so close. Although we are kept pretty in the dark about the extent of Peony's actions toward Nephry, we know that his feelings for her were known by Nephry and that she shot him down. However, there seems to be a quiet and peaceful understanding between the two and I cannot help but question whether or not Nephry shot him down solely because of his duty or if she truly couldn't return his feelings.

≅ jade connection ≅

Nephry is Jade's younger sister. Despite what one might think from them being connected by blood, their relationship is, in fact, very distant. Of course, they both acknowledge that they are family and that there should be a bond about such titles but they hold no mutual level of comfort. There isn't a strong warmth about them. They seem more like old acquaintances or classmates. However, despite this distance, Nephry still looks up to her brother and seems quite happy to know that he is getting by in life and growing as a person. Jade, however, doesn't seem as concerned. Probably because of how he is, he doesn't view his sister part of the big picture and thus she falls into the background.
